Blessed are You, O’LORD our G_d, King of the universe, Creator of all things who allows His people to be a distributor of this love.

Let me just say that I am a sap…I cried at the end of a Bruce Willis flick – no, not Diehard – it was the Fifth Element. Love just strikes me at such a deep level, it often evokes tears from me…especially in places where love is so obviously absent.

I often hear people ask questions about how a loving G_d could allow such horrors to exist within His creation…and this is a good and tough question – one that has no real good answer. I don’t pretend to know much about the Wisdom of G_d but I do wonder if He believes that we, as His faithful followers, are the ones that will take His love into those gaps.

I pray that we will look around us and see where the gaps exist – and take G_d’s redeeming love, mercy and grace into those spaces. If we made this our intentions always – I think fewer people would ask, “Where is G_d in all of this?” Because we would make His love known and present in a very tangible way. So – go change the world!
