Blessed are You, O’LORD our G_d, King of the universe, Creator of all things that You walk with us into our fullest potential.

Blessed are You, O’LORD our G_d, King of the universe, Creator of all things that You patiently wait for us as we deny our fullest potential.

One of the most difficult things for me is to know and believe that there is a fullness of potential in me. I’ve lived my life with a lowered bar – a bar that was attainable but not ‘more.’

When others around me (even G_d) saw potential in me – I assumed that I had in some way fulled them into believing something about me that isn’t true. That they mistook me for someone else – someone better. I still struggle with the idea that G_d has called me into a life of ministry – as if, somehow, I’ve managed to pull the wool over the eyes of the Almighty!

Today, this morning, this moment – I believe in me…In my potential…For that I bless G_d! I know that this moment is, most likely, fleeting – but for this moment I sense the potential and the promise. I also sense that potential and promise for all of G_d’s created…

I pray that you will see the potential in yourself and those around you – for the LORD knows how to create that which is good!
