Blessed are You, O’LORD our G_d, King of the universe, Creator of all things that You would give us permission to ask You questions.
Blessed are You, O’LORD our G_d, King of the universe, Creator of all things for giving us examples of Abraham, Moses, and David as great men who questioned You.
Blessed are You, O’LORD our G_d, King of the universe, Creator of all things that You are big enough to handle all of our questions.
I have been so moved over the past several years at how open G_d is to hearing our questions…how He delights in our inquisitiveness. The first prayer of Abraham in covenant was to question G_d’s own justice toward Sodom. David spends all his psalms peppering G_d with question after question. Moses stands before G_d and questions His decision making. How big of a G_d we have that He is willing to hear, listen, and at times answer our questions.

There are plenty of questions that I will be so interested in hearing the answers to when I’m before God and can see His plan in my life before me. Until then, I plan on asking Him the little things that come up almost daily. What is Your will in this situation? Where would You have me go? What would You have me to do? What area of my life do I need to sacrifice to You next? Really, you think THAT was the best way;)?
“By your grace, you let me come and talk to you.”
